We visited many historical sites and were impressed by the gorgeous architecture and wonderful history that we learned about. One comment we kept making during our travels was “We should have taken pictures of all the different bathrooms we encountered”. There were incredible extremes… from holes created in stones for use as toilets in the ancient City of Ephesus to stylish extravagance in restrooms on the French Riviera!
